Charlie 7 Months

I was horrible about taking notes for Charlie's 7 month update so this will seem short and sporadic.  I don't feel like a lot came to be in this month.  I was off work for Christmas and New Years, so there was a lot of time spent at home with the munchkin.  And that was wonderful!

- First time pooping at night while sleeping, amazingly she didn't wake. She slept her whole 12 hours
- Sleeping is back to semi normal after our Thanksgiving week
- Teeth! The first bottom tooth came in followed quickly by two more bottom teeth all in a row. The week before the first tooth broke through the skin she had dropped a bottle completely and was very short with nursing. 
- Sitting up by herself. Still a little weebly wobbly but doing so good.  She's taken to sitting up in the bath tub during her bath and just thinks so much of herself for being able to do that. 
- Still loves bath time.  Daddy and her have such fun, there's always giggles coming back the bathroom. 
- This  month we started to introduce formula.  It took 3 brands and types to settle on one she'd take without issue.  Enfamil, ready to use supplementing is what we're using right now.  Although we were trying different formulas, she was still about 95% breast milk.  The formula was incorporated when I was short a day.  
- Solids are still going very well.  She has yogurt with her first bottle, followed by cereal (when at daycare) At lunch she has a jar of baby food and another jar at dinner time.  Occasionally she'll woof down a second smaller jar.  Still doesn't love fruits.  She'll eat them but she makes the funniest faces while she has them. We also are introducing some big people food when we feel comfortable.  French fries, mashed potatoes, cooked zucchini and occasionally the soft cookie. As she gets more teeth, we'll introduce more and more.  Originally I had wanted to go with Baby Led Weaning but her lack of teeth has me nervous.  She has her mommy's super sensitive gag reflex which makes things interesting. 

- First Christmas! Being as young as she was, the concept of the presents was lost on her.  She did like the wrapping paper but only to eat.  Ripping of the paper didn't seem as important at this point.  But she loved watching her cousins run around like fools.  
- These past two months she's been more clingy to me.  It hurts daddy's feelings but we aren't sure how to curb that.  I'm not sure that we can.  Whether it was from my vacation time or if it's just a stage we aren't sure.  
-  Still sleeping pretty decently.  Nights are never an issue unless it's during one of the "wonder weeks"  Naps are hit or miss.  Even when home with me.  Sometimes she'll take two big naps during the day.  Other times there's 15 minute cat naps throughout the day.  It all depends. 
- Still the happiest baby around.  There's very little that upsets this little girl. 
- LOVES the jumper at Ma's house.  It has the elastic type bands on it so when she jumps it really goes.  
- Adores her puppies.  She's really started to take a notice of them this month.  Petting them (aka grabbing their hair and ripping) and watching their every move. 
- Size 3 diapers of any brand.  Wearing 6 months & 6-9 month clothing
